Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist I/II to perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, and image acquisition. This role supports the Imaging service line with a focus on patient safety, quality imaging, and collaborative care.

The position requires ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, and pediatric PALS when applicable, along with state licensure. Flexible, part-time schedule with 30 hours weekly at Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS within 120 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 120 days (for pediatric hospitals).
• Relevant state licensure and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient for the exam and verifies identity and orders.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding, and consents; reports equipment issues.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and adverse events.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• Completes sheath removal and achieves hemostasis when needed.
