Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO seeks an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, and image acquisition in a collaborative imaging team.

The role supports an imaging service line with emphasis on patient safety, education, and efficient workflow. Requires ARRT, BCLS, ACLS (120 days), and state licensure. Part-time position with 30 hours per week at Saint Joseph Hospital.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required or pending approval.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required; ACLS within 120 days.
• PALS for pediatric hospitals may be required.
• State licensure and/or certifications relevant to practice.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity and orders, and ensures safety.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and proper use of interventional supplies.
• Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, consents, QC, and equipment reports.
• Educates patients, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps records of patient information, procedures, and adverse reactions.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• Manages sheath post-procedure hemostasis as needed.
