Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is seeking a Part-time Angio/Interventionalist to support our Imaging service line. You will assist in angiography procedures, scrubbing, and image acquisition while ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires current ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, and state licensure; pediatric certification (PALS) may be required for pediatric hospitals. Two years of Angio/Interventional experience is preferred for senior levels.

Qualifications

• ARRT, BCLS and ACLS certifications required within the stated timescales.
• Active state licensure and/or certifications.
• PALS certification within 120 days for pediatric hospitals.
• Preferred: 1–2 years Angio/Interventional experience or 1–2 years VIR experience.
• Minimum 2 years Angio/Interventional experience for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policy.
• Operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensures proper patient identification and prepares patient for exams.
• Adheres to radiation safety and maintains a safe environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding, consents, QC, and reporting equipment failures.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• At end of procedure, manages sheath and hemostasis.
