Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications.
• Provides procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policies.
• Operates IR equipment to ensure high-quality images.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity and orders.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Ensures proper medical necessity, coding, and consents.
• Educates patient and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions.
• Coordinates care and communicates with other providers.
• Suturing or hemostasis after procedure.
