NorthStar School of Innovation & Leadership, part of ACCEL Schools, is seeking an Intervention Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio. The role focuses on supporting students with IEPs and collaborating with teachers to implement inclusive strategies and behavior support plans.

You will facilitate IEP meetings, conduct assessments, and communicate student progress with families, while contributing to social-emotional development and a positive school culture.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full-room inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
• Ability to pass FBI/BCI background checks.
• Experience in multicultural settings preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support educational and behavioral goals for students with IEP focus.
• Collaborate with teachers to interpret abilities and modify curricula.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and goals/objectives.
• Communicate regularly with families about student growth.
• Plan and participate in non-instructional activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
