Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate and schedule interpretation services, ensuring timely language access for patients, providers, and staff. This full-time role handles interpreter assignments, monitors daily coverage, processes language service requests, and liaises between clinical departments, interpreters, and external vendors.

This position works on Days, based at Presbyterian Hospital, and requires strong computer skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with short-term Medical Terminology training.
• Strong computer skills and 45 WPM typing.
• Experience in scheduling or office coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception duties in the Scheduling office.
• Answer phone calls timely and respond according to need.
• Triage phone calls to appropriate scheduler or staff member.
• Schedule procedures and patient visits using the computerized scheduling system, in accordance with the scheduling rules and guidelines written by the Scheduling Policy Committee.
• Maintain the clinical privilege notebook in collaboration with the office of Medical Staff Affairs.
• Monitor, validate, and record all incoming scheduling faxes on a daily basis.
• Monitor and record daily tracking sheets.
