Job summary

The Scheduler Coordinator at Presbyterian Healthcare Services coordinates interpretation services to ensure timely language access for patients, providers, and staff. You will manage interpreter assignments, monitor coverage, and process language service requests in collaboration with clinical departments and external vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with specialized, short-term training in Medical Terminology.
• Strong computer skills and ability to type 45 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception duties in the Scheduling office. Answer phone calls timely and respond according to need. Triage phone calls to appropriate scheduler or staff member.
• Schedule procedures and patient visits using the computerized scheduling system, in accordance with the scheduling rules and guidelines written by the Scheduling Policy Committee.
• Maintain the clinical privilege notebook in collaboration with the office of Medical Staff Affairs.
• Monitor, validate, and record all incoming scheduling faxes on a daily basis.
• Monitor and record daily tracking sheets.
