Job summary

University of Rochester is seeking a Level I Interpreter Services Scheduler to coordinate the scheduling program for Interpreter Services at 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester. You will manage requests in ePARC/eRecord, determine the appropriate interpreter modality, and ensure timely, patient-focused service.

• High School diploma and 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Associate's degree in Medical, Secretarial or related field and a minimum of three years of relevant experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interpreter scheduling and monitoring within Interpreter Scheduling System and ePARC/eRecord.
• Assess clinical requests and determine interpreter modality (in-person, video, or telephone).
• Track assignments and provide continuity of care for patients.
• Triage urgent requests within 5 minutes and coordinate with schedulers and supervisors.
