• Track shipment status, resolve delays, communicate updates, and maintain accurate logistics records.
• Support customs clearance, FDA import compliance, inventory receipts, and outbound delivery coordination.

Job Summary

A growing organization in Mercer County, NJ is seeking an experienced International Logistics Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics professional with a strong background in international shipping, import/export documentation, customs coordination, and freight management.

The International Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in keeping global shipments moving accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with import/export requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments from origin through final delivery, including ocean and air freight.
• Work with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams to support timely delivery.
• Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and Dangerous Goods Declaration paperwork.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Coordinate international freight shipments, including ocean and air transportation.
• Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance support, and shipment tracking.
• Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and warehouses.
• Support FDA compliance, inventory receipts, and outbound logistics coordination.
• 3+ years of international logistics, import/export, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination experience.
• Experience with customs clearance procedures and import documentation.
• Knowledge of FDA import requirements.
• Experience handling Dangerous Goods Declaration documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365, including Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external logistics partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced international shipping or supply chain environment.
• Familiarity with coordinating both inbound inventory receipts and outbound deliveries.
