• Communicate with carriers, truck drivers, vendors, customers, and warehouse teams to resolve shipment, delivery, and documentation issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions, data entry, shipment tracking, and receiving records.
• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, material movement, and general warehouse support as needed.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and support efficient, organized shipping and receiving operations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity near Auburn, WA. The Shipping and Receiving Associate will play a key role in keeping materials, inventory, and customer shipments moving accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for inbound materials and outbound customer shipments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.
• Location: Auburn, WA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Coordinate inbound receiving and outbound shipping activity in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Prepare and process Bills of Lading and related shipping documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment tracking, data entry, and receiving documentation.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, customers, and internal teams to support timely and accurate deliveries.
• 3 to 5 years of shipping and receiving experience.
• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and inventory control procedures.
• Experience preparing packing slips, labels, receiving documents, shipment records, and Bills of Lading.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assist with loading, unloading, staging, and general warehouse support as needed.
• Commitment to following warehouse safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification strongly preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with ERP, WMS, inventory management, or shipping software systems.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
