This temp-to-hire position handles ocean import shipments from booking through final delivery and container return, coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams.
Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in ocean freight imports or international logistics, strong communication, and meticulous organizational skills.
We are seeking an International Logistics Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a Seattle-based food and beverage production company supporting a busy global supply chain. This role is a strong fit for someone with ocean import, freight forwarding, import documentation, or international logistics experience who enjoys managing shipments from booking through final delivery.
In this role, you will coordinate approximately 10 to 12 ocean freight containers per week, primarily imports from Asia, while partnering with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking providers, warehouse teams, purchasing, accounting, and customer service. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and detail-focused, with supportive leadership and opportunities to build a long-term career path after hire.
This is a great opportunity for a logistics professional who wants ownership of the import process, enjoys solving shipment challenges, and values being part of a team where communication, follow-through, and reliability make a direct impact.
