Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift in the ICU. The assignment is 12 weeks with per diem status and a flat hourly rate of $60.00.

The RN will perform direct patient care in ICU, follow nursing process, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safety and quality of care. Prior ICU experience and active RN license are required; this is a temporary position with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• CCRN Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Overview

Temporary Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Location: Olympia Fields, IL

Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Status: Temporary Internal Registry (Per Diem)

Shift: Night Shift

Compensation: $60.00 per hour (Flat Rate)

Assignment Details

The assignment is expected to last 12 weeks; however, staffing needs will be evaluated on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. They communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Pay Transparency

Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $60.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
