Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to originate and process mortgage loans from application through underwriting, ensuring timely, accurate guidance for members. The role emphasizes collaboration with branches and the contact center to maintain service levels and compliance with TRID/RESPA requirements.

The ideal candidate has mortgage processing or member service experience, strong communication, and a commitment to excellent member service.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent secondary market mortgage processing experience or member service preferred.
• Mortgage application experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans through internal resources and process applications to underwriting.
• Discuss loan applications with borrowers and outline items needed to complete the loan.
• Partner with branches and contact center teams to provide timely mortgage guidance.
• Ensure TRID/RESPA compliance timelines and accurate pricing/fees on transactions.
• Submit files to underwriting, clear conditions, and obtain final approval.
