Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to originate and process member mortgage loans within policy guidelines. You will work with internal resources and branch teams to provide accurate guidance, submit to underwriting, and ensure compliant, timely closing.

The role requires 2+ years of mortgage processing or member service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and an ability to obtain NMLS registration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years of mortgage processing experience or member service preferred.
• Mortgage application experience preferred.
• NMLS registration required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans through internal resources.
• Discuss loan applications and required items with borrowers.
• Partner with branches and contact center teams for timely guidance.
• Process originated loans and submit to underwriting, clearing conditions and obtaining final approval.
• Review loan documents and ensure TRID/RESPA compliance timelines.
• Verify flood zone data and lien positions with title company.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and uphold professional reputation.
