Job summary

Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a full-time outpatient physician for Prospect Medical Commons. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, CME allowance, and tail malpractice coverage, with clinic hours 7am-5pm, M-F and no on-call requirements.

Physicians will obtain patient history, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and provide preventive care and education to patients and families.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Join a collaborative team of five providers.
• Schedule: Full Time; Clinic hours are 7am-5pm M-F.
• Call structure: No call
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Access to on-site lab and radiology
• Various specialties available
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care. Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• One or more of the following:
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
