SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to support the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of internal communications across Southeast Alaska.

The role focuses on writing, editing, and proofreading, translating complex information for employee audiences, and managing content across intranet, newsletters, and email campaigns. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in communications are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• Three or more years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, employee communications, or a related field
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for multiple audiences and channels

• Write, edit, and proofread high-quality internal communications for executive messages, newsletters, intranet content, and employee announcements.
• Translate complex information into clear, concise communications tailored to employee audiences.
• Review content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, readability, brand alignment, and compliance.
• Develop internal communication plans, manage channels like intranet and newsletters, and track editorial calendars.
• Gather information from subject matter experts and approved sources to create meaningful content.
• Create stories and articles highlighting programs and organizational initiatives.
• Track metrics and prepare reports to inform future communication strategies.
