Job summary

The Internal Communications Specialist at SEARHC in Juneau, AK, supports planning, development, execution, and evaluation of internal communications to inform and engage SEARHC employees across Southeast Alaska.

You will write, edit, and proofread high‑quality internal communications, translate complex information into clear messages, and ensure brand alignment across intranet, newsletters, and executive communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum three years in communications, public relations or related area.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills for diverse channels.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread internal communications including executive messages and newsletters.
• Translate technical information into clear employee-facing content and ensure brand alignment.
• Support development and execution of internal communication plans and channels.
• Track metrics and report on engagement and effectiveness of initiatives.
• Assist with employee engagement activities and event coordination.
• Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and governance.
