Job summary

SEARHC in Southeast Alaska is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to join the Marketing and Communications Department. You will write, edit, and deliver clear employee communications across intranet, newsletters, emails, and leadership messages, translating complex information for diverse staff.

You will plan and manage internal channels, gather SME content, track metrics, and support employee engagement initiatives while upholding brand guidelines and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• Three or more years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, employee communications, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread high-quality internal communications for executive messages, newsletters, intranet content, emails, and announcements.
• Translate complex information into clear, concise communications tailored to employee audiences.
• Review content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, readability, brand alignment, and compliance.
