Job summary

Volvo Group in Greensboro, NC is seeking an Internal Communications Intern for Service Operations & Technology (SO&T) NA to support internal messaging, onboarding, and employee engagement programs. You will help with material preparation, publishing on SharePoint and screens, and assist with campaigns.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to produce basic video content and visuals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Communications or Marketing
• Must have completed 30 semester hours prior to start
• Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Based in Greensboro, NC

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and proofread internal messages, announcements, newsletters, and digital screen content
• Create visual or multimedia content for internal campaigns
• Upload and update content on internal platforms (SharePoint, digital TVs, email lists)
• Monitor boards and displays for timely, relevant content
• Assemble welcome packages and onboarding materials
• Support employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives
• Prepare materials and logistics for internal events and town halls
• Assist with engagement campaigns and collect feedback and metrics
• Maintain distribution lists and content calendars
