Job summary

Volvo Group offers an internship in Technical Support Services for Spring 2027 at Greensboro, NC. This student position focuses on supporting project deliverables, maintaining high-quality outputs, documenting technical requirements, engaging in training activities, and presenting final project outcomes to internal teams.

The role supports both Mack Trucks and Volvo brands, with an emphasis on uptime, dealer/customer satisfaction, and a path toward learning product details and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate's Degree in Diesel/Automotive/Engineering Technology or equivalent field/technical experience (Heavy Duty Truck/Diesel).
• 2+ years of experience in heavy truck electronics and engine diagnostics preferred.
• Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week.
• Must be in good academic standing with a GPA of at least 2.75.

Responsibilities

• Support and Communicate Project deliverables: Achieve project timelines, milestones and deliverables as directed by Technical Service Manager.
• Maintain a focus on high-quality output: Support technical deliveries and provide predictable outcomes for dealers and customers.
• Document technical requirements and outcomes: Learn and deliver product information to stakeholders across multiple teams.
• Engagement in Training Activities: Participate in hands-on product trainings and provide feedback for improvement.
• Project completion: Present final project to Uptime Operations teams.
