Job summary
Volvo Group in Greensboro, NC is offering an Intern: Technical Support Services internship for Spring 2027. You will support uptime projects, coordinate activities and learn product details across uptime operations and dealer networks.
This role focuses on technical troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and hands-on product trainings. Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week and the program includes housing assistance where applicable.
Qualifications
- Pursuing an Associate's Degree in Diesel/Automotive/Engineering Technology or equivalent field.
- 2+ years of heavy truck electronics and engine diagnostics preferred.
- Demonstrated Customer Service/Experience focus is a plus.
- Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week.
- Must be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
Responsibilities
- Support and communicate project deliverables with stakeholders.
- Maintain high-quality output in product support and dealer/customer outcomes.
- Document technical requirements and outcomes for multiple teams.
- Engage in hands-on product trainings and provide improvement feedback.
- Present final project outcomes to Uptime Operations teams at internship end.
