Tallgrass invites students to join the Health & Safety Department for Capital Projects as a full-time internship in Houston, focusing on safety across projects and contractor oversight. This 10-week summer program provides hands-on experience in safety data management, reporting, and roundtable organization.
You will learn about OSHA 1910/1926 implementations and Tallgrass TOPSafe culture, while developing practical skills in analytics, reporting, and cross-team collaboration.
The Health & Safety Department for Capital Projects ensures all safety aspects are managed throughout project work. This includes overseeing contractors by reviewing their health and safety plans, supporting project inspections, and investigating any incidents. The team also works to maintain a safe environment for both Tallgrass employees and contractors at the Houston office

Student actively enrolled in a degreed program and attending classes related to Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Emergency Management, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Organizational Effectiveness or other human resource type discipline with expected graduation date of December 2026- May 2028.
Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston office. We will host our Summer 2027 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.
