Tallgrass in Houston invites interns to join the Project Management department for a 10-week program May–August 2027. You will support the Environmental Manager with day-to-day project activities on a major capital project, gaining exposure to permitting, data collection, and reporting.
The role is in-person at our Houston office. Applicants are enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Environmental Science with graduation window Dec 2026–May 2028; proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong math

The selected candidate will work in the Tallgrass Project Management department in Houston, Texas. The intern’s main responsibility will be to support the Environmental Manager in the day-to-day running of a major project. You will become part of the project management team of a project.
The intern will learn the basic tasks of running a large capital project and be exposed to the decision-making processes of environmental and regulatory programs.
Students actively enrolled in an approved bachelor’s or master’s Environmental Science program with expected graduation date of December 2026- May 2028.
Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston office. We will host our Summer 2027 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.
