Job summary

Tallgrass welcomes prospective interns to join our Project Controls team in Houston for Summer 2027. This in-person internship runs for 10 weeks, offering hands-on experience in schedule maintenance, cost tracking, and reporting within a supportive, learning-focused environment.

You will work closely with project controls professionals, gain exposure to large-scale projects, and develop skills in data analysis, risk management, and documentation, all while benefiting from mentorship and

  • Support cost tracking and budget monitoring activities.
  • Help prepare project status reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and project controls professionals to gather and analyze project data.
  • Participate in risk and change management documentation.
  • Assist in data entry, document control, and maintain project records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the project control's function.

Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston office. We will host our Summer 2027 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.

Compensation And Other Benefits
  • Pay Range $21.09-$37.09 USD Hourly
  • The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include; paid time off, a housing stipend, and more.

The fine print:
