Job summary

HMM is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to manage railroad partner relationships and inland traffic for US, Canada and Latin America. You will negotiate renewal contracts, analyze performance to maximize incentives and minimize penalties, and guide internal teams on rail market conditions.

This role requires deep knowledge of international containerized shipping, strong leadership and Excel skills, with at least 10 years in ocean shipping operations or pricing analysis and a bachelor's

Qualifications

10 years of experience in ocean shipping operations or ocean freight pricing analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Engage railroad partners to maintain strong relations and service quality.
Analyze railroad performance against contract terms to identify issues and opportunities.
Prepare and deliver rail market insights and recommendations to management, covering North and Latin America routes and contracts.
Manage and train teams responsible for arranging intermodal transportation of ocean freight.
Performs other duties as assigned.
