Job summary

HMM America Shipping Agency, Inc. is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage railroad partner relationships and all inland traffic for the US, Canada and Mid/South America.

The role involves negotiating renewal contracts, analyzing performance to maximize incentives and minimize penalties, and guiding internal teams on rail market conditions and opportunities. Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in ocean shipping operations or ocean freight pricing analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage railroad partners to maintain strong relations and service quality.
• Analyze railroad performance against contract terms to identify issues and opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver rail market insights and recommendations to management, covering North and Latin America routes and contracts.
• Manage and train teams responsible for arranging intermodal transportation of ocean freight.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
