Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking an Account Manager II to deliver best-in-class service for our intermodal division. You’ll be the first line of contact for customers, ensuring freight is serviced to meet standards while communicating needs to operations.

You may work from Chicago or Tinley Park offices in a hybrid setup. You will build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers, monitor shipment status, manage invoicing readiness, and support billing accuracy while contributing to key

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of related experience working with intermodal shipments.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact intermodal carrier to obtain load status and update in the system, notifying shipper/receiver and rescheduling as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with intermodal clients, carriers, shippers and receivers through timely communications.
• Correspond with customer and carrier regarding accessorial information.
• Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System.
• Manage accounts receivable within guidelines and handle day-to-day tracking, tracing and communications.
• Confirm billing information is accurate and ready for invoicing.
