Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking an Intermodal Specialist to execute intermodal freight, including drayage and rail linehaul. You will manage load boards, ensure proper pricing and routing, and build strong carrier relationships to maintain on-time service.

You will identify issues, control accessorials, and support accounting while communicating effectively with internal and external contacts to deliver reliable, cost-efficient transportation solutions across North America.

Qualifications

• Understand growth strategy, goals, commitments, policies, and pain points of assigned region.
• Maintain relationships with drayage dispatch contacts and railroad customer service reps.
• Responsible for daily load board management to ensure loads are serviced properly and on time.
• Rail bill loads with correct pricing and routing information.
• Proactively identify potential issues and create appropriate solutions; elevate as needed.
• Manage accessorials objectively while maximizing profit.
• Ensure receipts, invoices, and PODs are received from carriers in a timely manner.
• Prioritize and respond to both internal and external requests in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
• Understand market trends and industry standards.
