Job summary

RXO is seeking a Senior Analyst, Operations to drive strategic initiatives for Intermodal and Drayage. You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, adopt new solutions, and support customer-facing projects that boost service and profitability.

In this role, you will develop project plans, track milestones, analyze data, and lead implementations with rail providers, carriers, terminals, and internal teams. Strong communication and project leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in transportation, logistics, intermodal, drayage, or freight operations.
• Project management experience with planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Experience analyzing operational processes for improvements.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Focus on strategic projects across Intermodal and Drayage operations aligned with business goals.
• Create and maintain project plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and service enhancements.
• Drive new customer onboarding initiatives and technology enhancements.
• Analyze data, trends, and performance metrics to improve efficiency and service.
• Collaborate with rail providers, drayage carriers, terminals, and internal teams.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Develop presentations and business cases communicating objectives and value.
• Monitor project performance against objectives.
• Support network expansion, standardization, and readiness activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams.
