Job summary

Watco seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage day-to-day freight operations, solicit carriers, and build carrier and customer relationships to keep shipments moving and margins healthy.

In intermodal and truckload logistics, you will handle pricing, maintain service levels, and contribute to branch growth while supporting a collaborative Watco team and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Transportation or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; 10-key and data entry.
• Ability to work well in a team and provide clear reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication with customers.
• RMIS and TMS knowledge recommended.
• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Broker transportation shipments and secure carrier capacity.
• Trace shipments via web portals and communicate with customers.
• Provide customer support and address issues to meet needs.
• Conduct spot pricing and negotiate rates for profitability.
• Meet customer compliance requirements and service levels.
• Book loads with RMIS carrier compliance.
• Perform other duties to support branch growth.
