U.S. Multimodal Group is seeking an Intermodal Business Coordinator in Overland Park, KS to manage freight from origin to delivery within a team. You will coordinate with rail and drayage vendors, learn customers' processes, and ensure fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Experience in intermodal freight handling, shipping operations, or freight forwarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of industry experience.
• Able to work within a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking.
• Proficient in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process orders in Alliance operating system.
• Build relationships with rail, dray, and customers to meet requirements.
• Update shipment data daily in the Alliance operating system.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery and communicate issues to customers.
• Escalate issues outside SOPs to Alliance management.
• Train new team members on accounts.
