Job summary

HireLevel is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Bridgeton, MO for a full-time position that is temp-to-hire. You will be the primary contact for customers, coordinate with drivers and dispatchers, and monitor shipments to provide accurate status updates.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced transportation environment. Ideal candidates have knowledge of intermodal operations, drayage, and freight logistics, plus experience in dispatch or load

Qualifications

• Experience in intermodal transportation and freight operations.
• Familiarity with drayage and trucking logistics.
• Knowledge of dispatch or load coordination.
• Customer service experience in transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers and provide timely, professional service.
• Coordinate with customers, drivers, dispatchers, terminals, and internal teams.
• Monitor shipments and provide status updates to customers.
• Assist with scheduling, pickups, deliveries, and changes to transportation plans.
• Troubleshoot shipment issues and communicate delays.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer and shipment information.
• Process and maintain required documentation.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns.
• Build relationships with customers and transportation partners.
• Work with operations to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify potential issues before they escalate.
