Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Carrier Manager to optimize carrier performance and relationships across end-to-end route guide management, bid execution, onboarding, and performance tracking. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will analyze bids, support procurement events, and leverage market insights to drive cost savings and operational excellence with strong experience in transportation management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years transportation or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate carrier compliance, tender acceptance, on time service, and visibility at the weekly, monthly and quarterly level.
• Evaluate bid compliance by analyzing actual results versus the response provided in the bid.
• Evaluate cost outside of annual contracted rates.
• Account/Operations support – provide assistance to Uber Freight Operations to assist with regular KPI review, carrier performance management, and proactive analytical support to help identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Administration and coordination of onsite and virtual meetings for external carriers
• Carrier onboarding and EDI / Carrier Portal setup support
