You will build and maintain customer relationships, coordinate with carriers and shippers, and help drive operational metrics. The position requires in-office work five days a week and a commitment to client service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience required.
• Must be open to working 5 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Secure Capacity for Load
• Contact carrier to obtain status of load tendered; monitor shipment and update the system, notifying shipper/receiver and rescheduling as needed
• Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers); Set-up new vendors
• Upload vendor profile sheet, assign vendor code, contact vendor to determine shipping dates/hours/operations
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers, shippers and receivers through professional communications
• Correspond with customer and carrier regarding detention information
• Issue ComChecks within established guidelines
• Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System
• Maintain up-to-date Fuel Surcharge by Customer
• Manage accounts receivables within specified guidelines
