ITW is seeking a 3rd Shift Machine B Operator in the Manufacturing Department. The role runs 11:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday through Thursday, and involves operating packaging lines, performing set-ups and minor adjustments, and ensuring quality per work orders.

The operator will use cardboard baler, plastic baler, carton erector, pallet jack, and tape gun among other production equipment. Forklift experience is required, with environmental, health, safety and quality guidelines strictly followed.

Job Description:

We are presently seeking candidates for a 3rd Shift Machine B Operator in the Manufacturing Department. The hours for this position will be 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday.

The Machine B Operator is responsible for the following:

• Performs manually and/or tends machines which perform various packaging functions such as, filling, labeling, packing, blistering or closing containers.
• Responsible for minor adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.
• Validates and organizes jobs in accordance with bill of materials and special work instructions based on current and future job orders.
• Responsible for conducting quality inspection of goods at the correct intervals, ensuring that product is packaged according to the work order.
• Ability to identify problems and assist in troubleshooting/training on the cardboard baler, plastic baler, carton erector, pallet jack, pick and place card/blister adjustments, taper/tape gun, and additional production equipment.
• Assists in training assigned full time/temp operators and assists other teams as needed.
• Forklift experience required.
• Promotes and follows all Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality guidelines and procedures.
• Must have the ability to fill in for Material Handlers and Machine C Operators when needed.

Compensation Information:

$20.40 - $23.00, based upon experience. Additional $1.00 shift premium for working 3rd Shift.
