Job summary

ITW Permatex in Solon, Ohio is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine C Operator in the Manufacturing Department. Hours are 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday – Friday, with a focus on supporting production line equipment while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency.

You will assist lead operators, perform minor set-ups, document production logs, and help train temporary workers. Compensation ranges from $18.70 to $21.00 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift premium for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Assist the lead operators on production line equipment while maintaining safety, quality and production standards.
• Promote and follow all EHS and Quality guidelines and procedures.
• Perform minor set-ups, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.
• Accurately account for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability by filling out daily production logs.
• Recommends safety improvements as needed and ensures housekeeping and equipment standards are met.
• Assist in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.

Compensation Information

$18.70 - $21.00, based upon experience. Additional $0.50 shift premium for working 2nd Shift.
