Job summary

ITW Permatex in Solon, Ohio seeks a 3rd shift Machine C Operator for the manufacturing department. Hours are 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday through Thursday. The role requires operating packaging and filling equipment, maintaining EH&S and quality standards, logging production data, and supporting line teams.

• Promotes and follows all EHS and Quality guidelines and procedures.
• Performs minor set-ups, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.
• Ability to accurately account for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability practices by filling out a daily production log.
• Recommends safety improvements as needed
• Ensures all housekeeping and equipment standards are met.
• Assists in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.
• Able to conduct basic operation of cardboard baler, plastic baler, compactor, carton erector, pallet jack, and taper/tape gun.
• Provides support and assistance to other line teams as needed.

Compensation Information

$18.70 - $21.00, based upon experience. Additional $1.00 shift premium, for 3rd Shift.
