Job summary

ITW is seeking a 3rd Shift Machine B Operator in the Manufacturing Department. The role runs 11:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday through Thursday, and involves operating packaging lines, performing set-ups and minor adjustments, and ensuring quality per work orders.

The operator will use cardboard baler, plastic baler, carton erector, pallet jack, and tape gun among other production equipment. Forklift experience is required, with environmental, health, safety and quality guidelines strictly followed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating filling/packaging machinery.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend packaging machines for filling, labeling, packing, blistering or closing containers.
• Perform minor adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, cleaning and general operation of machines.
• Validate and organize jobs per bill of materials and work instructions.
