Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Contracts Manager - Interiors to oversee complex contracts with airlines and airframe manufacturers. The role emphasizes governance, negotiation, and documentation excellence in a fast-moving environment.

Remote/hybrid/onsite work options are available across U.S. offices, with focus on aerospace aftermarket contracts and strong collaboration with program management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience Commercial aerospace contract experience, ideally supporting airlines, airframe manufacturers, and aftermarket programs or services.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization on contractual matters and provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all contracting activities comply with corporate policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
• Lead the negotiation and execution of complex commercial contracts.
• Review customer RFPs, assess requirements and terms, support proposal development, and coordinate internal approvals.
• Identify contractual and business risks and recommend clear, practical mitigation strategies.
• Partner with program management and develop an understanding of relevant products, services, and technical considerations.
• Deliver strategic analysis and recommendations to support business and contractual decisions.
• Prepare accurate, complete, and professionally formatted documentation for negotiations and contractual records.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready contract files in accordance with departmental standards.
• Manage multiple projects of varying complexity while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
