Habegger Furniture is seeking a Furniture Sales / Interior Design Consultant to help clients turn ideas into beautiful spaces. This role goes beyond traditional retail; you’ll guide clients through selecting furniture, fabrics, finishes, and layouts to create cohesive rooms.

You’ll build lasting relationships from the showroom visit through project completion, pairing listening and design with sales ability while collaborating with design, office, service, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Furniture or interior design experience is helpful, but the right personality and work ethic are essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities are required.
• Willingness to learn product lines and design software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with clients to understand style, space, and lifestyle.
• Help clients select furniture, fabrics, finishes, and other design elements.
• Propose room layouts and creative solutions for homes.
• Guide customers through the showroom and customization options.
• Build relationships from showroom visit to project completion.
• Follow up on quotes, projects, and sales opportunities.
• Develop product knowledge through training and collaboration with teams.
• Create accurate quotes and orders using sales systems.
