Job summary

Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start to finish consultative design service, meeting with customers to understand their project needs and build a concept that fits their style and budget. You will guide selections from tile to accessories, crafting complete design solutions for residential and commercial projects.

In a fast-paced retail environment, you will schedule appointments, manage multiple projects with clear communication, and collaborate with store leadership to achieve sales

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience.
• Degree in Design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects through all phases with accurate and timely follow-up.
