Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to provide seamless, from-start-to-finish design service. You will meet customers, learn project needs, and craft creative design concepts reflecting personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

Qualifications include 1 year interior design or retail/sales experience, with a design degree as a plus. Proficiency in design software and strong communication are essential for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Degree in Design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and schedule design appointments to develop clientele.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Stay current with design trends and use company tools for scheduling and communication.
