Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to join our Linden, NJ store. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will guide front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, safety, and guest service during a temporary leadership assignment.

You will assume Manager On Duty responsibilities on shifts, train teammates, drive sales, manage opening/closing procedures, and partner with store leadership to maintain a WOW customer experience while supporting business goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• College experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Able to multi-task, think creatively, and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers through personal contact and WOW service.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and oversee store operations and staff.
