Job summary

Five Below in New York is seeking an energetic Store Manager or Supervisor to lead crew in delivering a WOW customer experience and excellent service. You’ll oversee daily operations, train staff, and ensure a smooth checkout while maintaining stock and store conditions.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Train crew on the BEST customer experience and fast checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking shelves for quick merchandising.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Open or close the store as needed, securing cash and alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and recovery procedures.
• Perform routine store maintenance and cleanliness tasks.
