Job summary

Five Below is hiring an hourly Store Manager in New York to lead a motivated team and wow customers with a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will supervise daily store operations, train associates, oversee receiving and merchandising, and manage opening/closing procedures.

Requirements include a High School diploma, 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task; starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with a schedule that may include weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the customer through personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Open or close the store and manage cash, doors, alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping.
