Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced hourly Store Manager candidate in New York to oversee daily operations, open/close procedures, cash handling, and a high standard of customer service. You will lead store associates, manage stock, and ensure displays align with corporate guidelines.

With a minimum of two years in management and strong communication skills, you’ll multitask in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a WOW customer experience in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Manages setup and maintenance of store displays and signage per corporate guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing procedures including cash handling, securing doors, alarms.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, responsible for store operations, staffing, and customer service.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures performance standards.
• Assists onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes market plans and ensures promotional materials and inventories comply with guidelines.
