Aptiv Interconnect is seeking an Interim Human Resources Manager for our San Marcos team to bridge business objectives with people strategies during a transitional period. You will lead hands-on HR initiatives, deliver data-driven recommendations, and map actionable steps to keep our site on track toward its goals.

We value adaptable leaders who can roll up their sleeves, grasp the broader strategy, and relocate as needed after the interim period to support site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, particularly in a mid-sized manufacturing environment with multi-site operations.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, particularly those applicable in California.

Responsibilities

• Talent Strategy & Operations: Accountable for delivering service to internal employees and external candidates; close talent gaps by attracting, retaining, and developing talent that aligns with our mission.
• System & Policy Administration: Oversee payroll and system administration, ensuring compliance with policies and labor regulations.
• Workplace Culture: Champion our culture and build a thriving organization where potential becomes purpose.
• Leadership & Vendor Alignment: Partner with Leadership, HR, employees, and vendors; drive data-driven decisions impacting employee experience.
• Strategic Advising: Share insights on company strategy, staffing levels, hires, terminations, and compensation structures.
• Process & Cost Optimization: Improve communication channels to boost engagement while reducing payroll and benefits costs.
