Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks an experienced HR leader to oversee core people operations during an interim period in Tacoma, WA. You’ll guide payroll, benefits, compliance, and HR data administration while partnering with leadership on day-to-day operations and strategic projects.

The role requires 6+ years of progressive HR experience, strong operations background, a Bachelor's degree, and HR certification is a plus. You’ll provide guidance to the HR team and ensure program continuity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across core human resources operations.
• Support payroll, benefits, and employee data management processes.
• Ensure HR programs, policies, and practices remain compliant with applicable regulations and organizational standards.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to address employee questions and resolve complex HR matters.
• Support the administration and maintenance of HR systems and reporting.
• Analyze workforce data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Assist with ongoing HR initiatives, projects, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure continuity across key people operations functions.
• Provide guidance and support to members of the HR team as needed.
