Job summary

Hope The Mission is seeking a Program Manager for Interim Housing in Los Angeles. You will lead day-to-day operations, supervise staff, ensure safety, and ensure compliance with funder requirements across all shifts.

The role emphasizes Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Trauma-Informed Care, with cross-department collaboration to move participants toward permanent housing. Strong leadership and operational excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years in homeless or human services programs.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Trauma-Informed Care.
• HMIS and/or CHAMP experience preferred.
• Ability to drive as part of work; valid CA license may be required.
• Experience managing motel, congregate, or village-style interim housing environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensures program operations comply with funder requirements and standards.
• Provides direct supervision to program staff and oversees hiring and coaching.
• Coordinates with internal departments, CES stakeholders, and public agencies to support outcomes.
• Oversees participant-centered services and housing pathways.
• Responds to incidents and ensures safety and compliance across shifts.
