Job summary

PATH is seeking a Residential Coordinator for the Fontaine Inn location in San Jose, CA, to oversee safety and basic needs for interim housing guests. The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to interim housing guidelines, and collaboration with case managers and operations teams.

The position supports meal prep, scheduling, phones, and general site needs, with the aim of providing a high-quality, inclusive environment and active engagement with guests and program participants.

Qualifications

• All levels of experience and education welcome.
• Mandatory requirements: eligibility to work in the U.S., CPR/First Aid training, background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete progress notes on every face-to-face/telephone contact with participants or collateral contact by the end of each shift.
• Provide facility tours to guests and new program participants.
• Support case managers and participants to achieve goals as per individualized service plans.
• Monitor and maintain interim housing floors for a hospitable environment.
• Collaborate with case management and operations to keep the facility safe and clean.
• Provide crisis intervention and harm reduction services.
• Utilize lived experience to build rapport and engagement.
• Provide information, referrals, and advocacy for needs as possible.
• Develop and link participants to community resources.
